Ski amadé = snow you can rely on

  • 83 % of ski slopes, equating to ca. 690 km of slopes in Ski amadé, have snowmaking capability    
  • Over 4,500 pieces of snowmaking equipment generate man-made snow   
  • Winter 2008/09: During the past season in the Ski amadé – which extended from the end of November until mid/late April – it was possible to ski the valley run on 139 days.
  • Costs per m³ of machine-produced snow: ca. € 3.50

In recent years, the overall efficiency of snowmakers has been increased by around 40 percent.

  • Proportion of overall expenses represented by snowmaking: ca. 25%
  • Average earnings per ski day: ca. € 23.70
  • Per ski day/ski ticket, an average of ca. € 5.90 is expensed for snowmaking capability
