How did you become aware of Ski amadé
By car from the north (Germany) via motorway Munich - Salzburg and continue via Tauernautobahn and/or the shortcut across the southern tip of Germany, from the east via the Westautobahn. The drive from Munich to Ski amadé takes approx. 2 hours and from Vienna approx. 4 hours.
By car from the south (Graz) via the Phyrnautobahn and the Ennstal valley and from the south (Carinthia, Italy, Slovenia) via the Tauernautobahn.
Salzburg International Airport
with its national and international schedule and charter flight
connections, is only ½ to 1 hour's drive or transfer time to the ski
resorts of Ski amadé.
All regions of the Ski amadé are also easily accessible by rail on the Western Line and the Tauern Line. Journey from Munich approx. 3 hours and from Vienna approx. 4 hours.
Obvious reasons in every respect!
Once you have reached Ski amadé, it is easy to discover the huge choice
of pistes and lifts that are provided. The five regions within Ski
amadé are so close to each other and it is so easy and fast to travel
from one to another by car or by taxi-shuttle. Ski buses also travel
between some of the regions. It is generally a matter of only 20 - 30
minutes' drive to get from one region to another. Even if you wanted to
travel from one end of Ski amadé to the most distant point at the other
end, this is possible in just over an hour.
