Grossarl & Hüttschlag
The Grossarl valley is located approximately 70 km South of the city of Salzburg on a fog free, high altitude area. More or less in the middle of this 30 km long valley rests the "European village" Grossarl with a population of 3.900 people.
Another 8 km further into the valley the National park township of Huettschlag can be found, which holds a population of about 920 people. The valley is completed with the majestic looking "Keeskogel", a glacier of 2.884 m altitude right at the end of the valley.
