Take the Gamskogel lift right up into the heart of the adventure mountain on the Gamskogel

From the adventure playground "The Alpine Animals Master Cup" to the relaxation arena at the Seekar Lake and the panoramic 4-summit tour: The Gamskogel offers unforgettable mountain experiences for the whole family. The starting point is the Gamskogel hut at almost 1,900 m above sea level, which you can reach comfortably with the Gamskogel lift – feel the wind in your hair on the lift!

Tip: The large sun terrace at the Gamskogel hut is a wonderful place where you can come to, to simply enjoy the views and to relax, it is not only just a hiking destination!

4-summit tour in the hiking paradise of Zauchensee

The 4-summit round tour includes the four highest elevations around the Seekar area in the hiker's paradise of Zauchensee and is considered one of the most beautiful high-altitude round hikes for experienced hikers in Salzburger Land. The magnificent views of the Niedere and Hohe Tauern, the Tennengebirge and the Radstädter Tauern and a dreamlike alpine flora with alpine bush, gentian and much more impress every nature lover.

On the four peaks Arche, Tagweidegg, Schwarzkopf and Gamskogel special checkpoints await you with markers for your 4-summit tour collection pass. When you have collected all four summit markers, you can hand in your tour pass for a small reward at the Gamskogelhütte or at the valley station of the Gamskogel cable car. You receive the collection pass for your 4-summit tour free of charge when you buy a lift ticket.

Gamskogelhütte

The Gamskogelhütte at around 1900 m above sea level is the start and end for your mountain adventures, is one of the cosiest huts in Zauchensee and offers an impressive panoramic view of the alpine pastures and peaks in the surrounding area. The hut crew will spoil you with fine specialities from the local cuisine, which taste even better on the spacious sun terrace. Cosy deckchairs invite you to sunbathe. Children can play and discover to their heart's content at the MeisterCup Alpine Animals adventure playground.

The Alpine Animals Master Cup

The adventure playground is located right next to the Gamskogel hut. The nine exciting adventure stations for children are based on the theme "Master Cup Arena": This is where the Alpine animals meet up to play, to train and to play sports. The Alpine animals are all super athletes in their discipline and they are waiting for team mates to compete with them. In the process, your youngsters will learn all kinds of interesting facts about the magnificent achievements of the wild and free mountain animals! Toddlers, schoolchildren and adults are guaranteed to be amazed and learn lots of new things here.

In addition to the adventure playground, the MeisterCup area awaits with further animal adventures. The three circular trails around the Gamskogelhütte - the WaldMeister Trail, AlmMeister Trail and BergMeister Trail - provide fun and challenges. Stations such as the "cool" Buggel slide, the tricky Geweihkraxler and the rocky climbing wall are just some of the highlights.
