Wagrainis Grafenberg – the mountain experience for the whole family

The Grafenberg in Wagrain is the perfect destination for families in the Salzburger Land.

The Grafenbergbahn takes you effortlessly to 1,700 meters, and you can also take strollers with you in the 6-seater gondola.

Once up on the mountain, the nature and mountain adventure world of Wagrainis Grafenberg awaits you with over 40 play stations

Cross the Grafenbergsee with one of the wooden rafts or on the suspension bridge, train your balance in the rope garden, discover the extensive swing forest, let yourself be fascinated by the "Path of Fascination" and experience many other great adventures that will make your family trip very special!

The spacious plateau also invites you to go for a stroll, hike and enjoy. The rustic alpine huts and mountain restaurants around the mountain station of the Grafenbergbahn and along the varied hiking trails ensure culinary enjoyment.

KUHbidu Adventure Trail

The new highlight on Grafenberg is the KUHbidu Adventure Trail

© Snow Space Salzburg, Christoph Huber

A themed trail with numerous adventure stations on the subject of "cows". Questions such as “What does a cow eat?” and “Where does the milk come from” are answered in a playful way. Enter the correct answers in your KUHbidu puzzle pass and pick up your little surprise at the valley station of the Grafenbergbahn when you have solved all the puzzle stations.

TIP: KUHbidu Thursday – July 4th to September 5th, 2024
Every Thursday there is a child-friendly guided tour through the theme trail with lots of exciting background information on the regional dairy industry. A glass of delicious homemade buttermilk awaits as a reward at the end of the tour.

Meeting point: At the Grafenberg gondola mountain station, 10.30 a.m
