Varied skiing pleasures await you on a winter holiday in Gastein, because the Gasteinertal has the right piste ready and waiting for every level of ability: 4 ski areas covering a wide area up to 2,700m high, including deep snow and mogul pistes, carving courses and freerides bring entertainment to the ski holiday. A real dream for freeriders is Sportgastein, situated high in the mountains, where the Backcountry is vast and open. The optimum height and extensive snow cannons provide a special snow guarantee from the end of November to the end of April. A particular attraction is the 140m Suspension Bridge on the Stubnerkogel, suspended above a 28 metre deep chasm.

The subject of many famous painters and poets. The Gasteiner Ache drops a total of 341 m in 3 levels. The atomization of negatively ionized air has a positive and pleasant effect on general well-being. Sources of the Gasteiner Ache are the Anlaufbach and the Naßfelder Ache in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The stone waterfall bridge was built in 1840 and improved in 1927.
The waterfall path leads along the waterfall to Badbruck. The path is cleared in winter!
A place of reflection and a treasure of art history. The so-called Church of our Lady was built between 1498 and 1507. Its luxurious centerpiece, the Baroque altar which was the magnum opus of the painter Josef Andrä Eisl and sculptor Paul Mödlhammer, made its mark in history.
