Winter hiking & tobogganing fun with heart points

Galsterberg

Summit experience with the highest point

Hauser Kaibling

An unobstructed view of the Dachstein, the Planai slopes all around, and in between elements such as a Klapotetz, oversized wooden chairs and a huge green heart – this is the new Planai Steirereck, a "selfie spot" for the somewhat different vacation photo.

Experience mountains and nature consciously. We have created for you in the mountain area quiet Platzl with trendy as well as classic seating. With a dreamlike view you can relax at the Natur Platzl, Sonnen Platzl, Servus Platzl, Gamsjaga Platzl or Glockner Platzl.

Whether winter hiking or tobogganing – hearty moments are guaranteed on the Galsterberg. The approx. 1.5 km long winter hiking trail starts at the mountain station and leads to one of the two heart points. The second heart point can be found along the 5 km long natural toboggan run. A winter magic on two runners invites you to an adventurous toboggan run both during the day and at night.

In a few minutes only, the Hauser Kaibling ski lifts take you to the highest point of Schladming's four interlinked mountains at 2,015 metres. Once at the top, you can enjoy gorgeous panoramic views across the Ennstal valley and the Dachstein mountains. Take some fun pictures with the pink sheep that awaits you on top!

The top station of the Rosskopfbahn Gondola at 1930m above sea level is not only a popular meeting point in the ski area, but also an ideal mountain with great panoramic view and many photo motifs! Our mascot "Zauchi" is looking forward to take a picture with you at the Skiline-Photopoint. At the "Love Heart" you can immortalize yourself with your "love padlock"! The Rosskopf is also part of the challenging 12-Peakstrophy!

You can reach the Singnix tree house in the Gallic ski village on Galsterberg via a small suspension bridge. Singnix is a villager who thinks he is a musical genius - but the rest of the village sees it differently and ties him to a tree at the slightest attempt at a vocal performance. With the Singnix tree house he got his own tree house from which he can look down.

With the elevator "World Cup Express", which is located directly next to the top station of the Schwarzwandbahn, you go up to the Gamskogel. Here is not only the start of the spectacular World Cup slope, but also a fabulously beautiful vantage point. The highest excursion point in the "Salzburger Sportwelt", which can be reached by lift, is thanks to the World Cup final in 2002, when the downhill course was extended to include the steep starting slope on the Gamskogel. The World Cup Express is usually open in fair weather during the main season (except during race preparation and World Cup races).

What does the "G" in G-Link stand for?
Simple and straightforward in name. Breathtaking and unique in project.
In 2013, the Grießenkareck and Grafenberg ski mountains were connected by a cable car spanning the valley above the village of Wagrain.

The bottom station of the G-Link aerial tramway is located at 1,233 m at the middle station of the Flying Mozart cable car and the top station on the Grafenberg at 1,240 m, resulting in a "sensational" difference in altitude of seven metres, which is mastered in an approximately six-minute ride.

Due to the gigantic free span of over two kilometres, a rope sag of up to 150 metres can be expected with a full cabin. The maximum ground clearance is approx. 232 metres.

Sensational with a unique view.
