Swing from peak to peak and experience "first aid on the mountain"
What used to be possible only for skiers in winter is also available for hikers in summer on the special circuit hiking days.
Visit the attractions on the Stubnerkogel and on the Schlossalm (the suspension bridge, panorama platform, rock trail, circuit hiking paths, figures in the rocks, via ferratas, childrens' playground ...) all in one day.
On June 27, July 10, August 15, 2021 everyone can take part of the "First Aid on the mountain". On these special days there are 3 stations at the Stubnerkogel, at Schlossalm and in the Angertal. The topics at the stations are reanimation, joint injuries and wound treatment. Everybody who successfully takes part at all three stations gets a diploma.
The Red Cross offers 35 minutes of practical lessons on "First Aid" at three stations throughout the day, which are free of charge:
- Stubnerkogel - Stubnerkogelbahn mountain station: basic measures
- Schlossalm - Kaserebenbahn mountain station: Fall injuries
- Schlossalm - Schlossalmbahn mountain station: reanimation
The Schlossalmbahn, Kaserebenbahn, Senderbahn and Stubnerkogelbahn are from 08.30 am to 04.00 pm in permanent operation.
The Hiking Circuit Ticket for € 30,00 per adult with Gastein Card and for € 15,50 per child enables the usage of all three cable cars (plus € 3,00 Key Card deposit). The Senderbahn and Stubnerkogelbahn operates in case of bad wheater every full hour.
