...but none is as special as the Tom alpine cabin. This may be due to the fact that in the whole of Maria Alm, no, in the whole of Salzburger Land, there is no other alpine hut with a pug (Choupette is her precious name) as a mascot. But probably also because of how we run our hut. 

In addition to a spectacular mountain panorama, we offer a good dose of taste: modern architecture is combined with rustic hut charm, the bubbly for the sundowner is specially created and the menu delivers what an alpine hut promises. Anyone expecting a classic ski lodge on the mountain will be surprised here - but that's exactly how we like it.

On three downhills in the skiarea Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl you can become a ski-superstar: Full speed ahed on the skimovie parallel-slalom and on the skimovie funslope mixed race on Gamskogel and shred down the slope at skimobie giant slalom at Kogelalm! The Winklalm has long been known across borders. Not only because of the cozy atmosphere, but also because of the good delicacies that our kitchen team conjures up.

Die Urlaubsregion Gastein kann man auf über 45km gespurten und bestens präparierten Loipenkilometern entdecken. Der Großteil ist sowohl im klassischen als auch im Skating- Stil zu bewältigen. Wer tagsüber nicht genug bekommt oder mit einer der anderen vielfältigen Möglichkeiten im Gasteinertal beschäftigt ist, der kann sich auf unseren Flutlichtloipen (Bad Hofgastein und Böckstein teilweise) bis 22 Uhr austoben.
