The Alpentaverne is located at 1320 m above sea level directly at the mountain station of the 8-seater Hochbrand cable car and has been a family business for generations. Here you can enjoy home-style cooking, quick snacks, soups and sweets such as yeast dumplings, strudel and much more.

Sparkling snow crystals as far as the eye can reach. Enjoy powder skiing at its best in the Dachstein glacier ski area, that is, unsurprisingly, also called 'Austria's ski touring Eldorado'. There are countless ski mountaineering tours, steep downhills, ski routes and freerides from and to the Dachstein plateau.

The most spectacular freeride run is the 'Edelgrieß', quite a challenge for even experienced mountaineers. 

Styria's oldest business establishment has been in existence since 1434 in Ramsau Rössing. The 'Lodenwalke' is known all over the world for its 'Schladminger Loden', that is produced right there and for sale solely at the production site. There are guided tours offering insights into the many production steps.

A stop at the Hochwurzenalm:

It is an encounter with the real and the traditional. Switch off in the rustic, cozy flair of a Styrian alpine hut. Right on the ski slope, on the toboggan run and on the winter hiking trail. But far from everyday life, noise and stress.

The Radstadt/Altenmarkt ski area is an insider tip for skiers and toboggan fans in Ski amadé. On the small but very fine ski mountain, all 4 main lifts come together on the "Kemahdhöhe", the central point of the ski area.

Up here, in addition to the start of the 6km long Königslehen toboggan run and the popular photo motif mascot "Kinigl", there is also a sacred place with the Holy Family made of "Sölker marble" and a summit cross made of old lift parts. This place invites you to linger and relax with a magnificent view. 

Die Hoo-Ruck Alm wurde komplett neu gestaltet und echt urig eingerichtet. Die Küche ist bodenständig und serviert wird neben heimischer Hausmannskost auch Fingerfood und Snacks für Zwischendurch. Und wie sich’s für eine Alm gehört gibt es jede Woche und auf Bestellung stimmungsvolle Hüttenabende mit Stelzenessen.
