Ski amadé from A to Z

The Radstadt/Altenmarkt ski area is an insider tip for skiers and toboggan fans in Ski amadé. On the small but very fine ski mountain, all 4 main lifts come together on the "Kemahdhöhe", the central point of the ski area.

Up here, in addition to the start of the 6km long Königslehen toboggan run and the popular photo motif mascot "Kinigl", there is also a sacred place with the Holy Family made of "Sölker marble" and a summit cross made of old lift parts. This place invites you to linger and relax with a magnificent view.

Zum Shuttleberg verkehren die Linienbusse in beiden Tälern als Gratisskibusse.

Zwischen Wagrain – Kleinarl und zwischen Radstadt – Flachauwinkl fahren, bis auf Weiteres, die Linienbusse im Winterfahrplan, mit den Haltestellen an den Talstationen der Bergbahnen.

Die Haltestellen am Shuttleberg sind:

In Kleinarl – am Parklatz der Talstation Champion Shuttle.
In Flachauwinkl – am  Parkplatz der Talstation Sunshine Shuttle.

Après ski bar, café, snack bar, right on the 8 Königslehen train and at the end of the 6km-long toboggan run Königslehen!

Our restaurant Tennestadl, which opened in 2016 and has 96 seats inside and 60 seats on the west-facing terrace, is located directly in the Hohenhaus Tenne, yet shielded from the hype. Alpine interiors, a balanced menu and a great wine selection await us. We look forward to welcoming you as our guests. We would also be happy to make you a special offer for your celebrations.

With the start of the 2025/26 winter season, the family-owned company Sport & Modehaus Mandl from Gröbming will officially take over the ski rental at Galsterberg. The new takeover brings a breath of fresh air, modern equipment and the usual high quality of service to the popular family ski resort.

Mandl has many years of experience in winter sports and is known in the region for its professional ski service, high-quality rental equipment and personal advice.

‘Our goal is to offer guests a hassle-free and enjoyable rental experience with state-of-the-art equipment.’

With the takeover, the ski rental at Galsterberg will be comprehensively modernised. Guests can look forward to an extensive selection of rental skis, touring skis and snowboards for adults and children.

The rental equipment can be booked online or directly on site.
