Ski amadé from A to Z

The ice-arena at Bad Hofgastein offers three skating rinks, the equipement could be borrowed at the ice-arena.

Klettersteig: Auf mittlerweile 6 verschiedenen Klettersteigen auf der Schlossalm gilt es, seine Geschicklichkeit zu testen. Bevor es in die Wand geht geht es zur Probe an die Übungswand.

Zur Haustür hinaus, Ski anschnallen und los geht`s – während die anderen im Tal noch auf den Lift warten wedelst du schon durch den frischen Pulverschnee!

Seit Winter 2013/14 haben wir – Sandra und Hans Peter Gruber – das traditionelle Wagrainer Haus übernommen. Es liegt nur wenige Meter von unserem Almstadl entfernt.

Wir begrüßen Sie auf 1750m Höhe im Ski- und Wandergebiet Flachau-Wagrain. Aufgrund der einzigartigen Lage erreicht man uns im Winter nur mittels  Gondel oder Skiern (bis 16.00 Uhr) – ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.

Freundlichkeit und Gastlichkeit kombiniert mit Standards die in unserer Region üblich sind. Nicht zu vergessen, unser aus Amerika importierter Barbecue-Smoker, aus dem wir ab sofort wieder die legendären und schmackhaften Spare Ribs servieren.

The Dachstein seems close enough to touch! The Kessleralm is the only hut right in the heart of the Planai (valley station Lärchkogel middle station cable car), all large slopes lead to the hut, it is therefore ideal as a meeting point. Fun for the whole family is pre-programmed at the holiday highlight on the 1.6 km long summer toboggan run on the Biberg. Simply get in, activate the gear lever and off you go!
On the action-packed downhill run, you leave 345 metres in altitude, 61 curves and 3 super jumps behind you. Whether you want to be a speedy downhill runner or a leisurely pleasure tobogganer, you can easily set your own speed with the gear lever.
