"Speed out, enjoyment in!" At the highest point of the Fageralm, the "Goliath Genuss-Oase" with giant swing and giant lounger invites you to linger in pleasure. The magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding mountains are unique.  

On the over 600 meter long sound slope on the Planai, you are accompanied by various musical sounds while carving, wedeling and swinging. The modern sound technology ensures exceptional listening pleasure and, in combination with the wide slopes, good moods are guaranteed here.

On three downhills in the skiarea Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl you can become a ski-superstar: Full speed ahed on the skimovie parallel-slalom and on the skimovie funslope mixed race on Gamskogel and shred down the slope at skimobie giant slalom at Kogelalm! Equipped with a 1,800 m² wellness landscape of diverse pool and sauna world, beautifully designed relaxation rooms with personal resting place, fitness zones, beauty & spa treatments and all this with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain panorama of the Grossarl Valley in Salzburg Land! In addition, a weekly program is offered with yoga, guided hikes and much more. From host to "guest whisperer" – this is the philosophy of the Neudegger family together with their employees. It can happen that the guest whisperers already feel a wish, although it has not yet been expressed by the guest.

Exclusive and personal moments of pleasure also await in the restaurants with local products & passionate preparation. Meat products are sourced from the in-house butchery "Großarler Genuss" and wherever possible, products are purchased from the farmers and suppliers around the corner. The perfect place to get away from it all – sometimes the journey doesn't have to be far to be quite far away!

The top station of the Rosskopfbahn Gondola at 1.930m above sea level is not only a popular meeting point in the ski area, but also an ideal mountain with great panoramic view and many photo motifs! Our mascot "Zauchi" is looking forward to take a picture with you at the Skiline-Photopoint. At the "Love Heart" you can immortalize yourself with your "love padlock"! The Rosskopf is also part of the challenging 12-Peakstrophy!

Mikaela Shiffrin, Petra Vlhova, Marlies Raich, Frida Hansdotter, Veronika VelezZuzulová, Maria Höfl-Riesch. These are the names of the skiers who skied to victory on the Hermann Maier FIS World Cup course and were thus crowned Snow Space Salzburg Princesses. 

Would you like to follow in the tracks of these and other famous and great ski stars? Do you want to ski down the same course and experience the same feeling? Then you've come to the right slope at the Hermann Maier FIS World Cup course in Flachau. 

In 2003, the slope was renamed the "Hermann Maier FIS World Cup Course". And for good reason, after all, the multiple ski world champion and Olympic champion is a true Flachau native. In the middle of the skiing area Snow Space Salzburg, part of Austria's greatest skiing Ski amadé, tangible racing fever awaits you on a course length of more than 600 metres.

In 2021 and 2022, the men's World Cup squad also visited Snow Space Salzburg. Atle Lie McGrath (2022) and Manuel Feller (2021) can also count themselves among the winners on the Hermann Maier World Cup course since then. 

5, 4, 3, 2, 1... go... Experience the feeling of standing at the starting gate. The Hermann Maier World Cup starting gate is a must-visit and is a photo point on your way through Snow Space Salzburg.
