The toboggan is one of the oldest pieces of winter sports equipment in the Alps – quite simply, it’s a classic. To this day, it remains a source of infinite enjoyment for young and old alike, with countless natural and man-made runs throughout Salzburg’s many valleys.

Start: Hahnbaumalm Restaurant (altitude approx. 1.100m)
Finish: city center of Sankt Johann (altitude approx. 650m)

Easy access to the start via the Hahnbaum double chair lift. The chair is open until 4pm, later ascents possible by taxi (approx. €35.00 one way for up to 8 pax, tariff will vary according to the meter).

After the last downhill, when the sun has already set, just the après-ski party is waiting for you at the Riverside, relaxed atmosphere with great music, meet friends, get to know nice people - the perfect end to a perfect day of skiing.

Fun for the whole family is pre-programmed at the holiday highlight on the 1.6 km long summer toboggan run on the Biberg. Simply get in, activate the gear lever and off you go!
On the action-packed downhill run, you leave 345 metres in altitude, 61 curves and 3 super jumps behind you. Whether you want to be a speedy downhill runner or a leisurely pleasure tobogganer, you can easily set your own speed with the gear lever.

Biathlon is fascinating. Not only on TV, when the world's best athletes lap and try to turn the black targets into white, standing as well as lying down - but also to try it yourself. In Ramsau am Dachstein, there are several possibilities to approach the enthralling world of biathlon. The offers include laser guns, air guns and small calibre rifle, with which one can test his accuracy in the biathlon stadium. The trainer team communicates the correct breathing and shooting technique, in order to find the optimal pulse and rhythm for shooting after the dynamic cross country units.

Zu Ehren eines besonderen „Sportsgeist“ wurde die Hermann Maier Galerie im Eingangsbereich des Tourismusverbandes in Flachau gestaltet.

Beeindruckende Bilder im Großformat, seine zahlreiche Trophäensammlung aber auch Hintergrundinformationen zur Person Hermann Maier findet man hier. Auf diese Weise entsteht ein völlig neues und sehr persönliches Portrait dieses außergewöhnlichen Sportlers!

Winter sports museum

Display of the general ski and winter sports history, with emphasis on the development of winter sports in the village of Haus im Ennstal with its Hauser Kaibling. During main season (summer and winter), open on Tuesdays from 10.00 h to 12.00 h and on Wednesdays from 16.30 h – 18.30 h. During low season, please contact us in cast you wish to visit the museum.

Die Zachhofalm lädt zum Entspannen, Aufwärmen und Genießen in uriger und gemütlicher Atmosphäre ein. Direkt an der Zachhofalmbahn bzw. Piste gelegen.
