Round-tour with Radstadt´s night watchman
Discover the historical places of Radstadt: the old city walls, churches, crypts and monasteries.
A touch of history surrounds many visitors, when they are "on tour" with our nights watchman. In traditional clothes with halberd and lantern, the famous "night-watchman-song" and a hand full of stories and sagas he accompanies interested people on a walk through the Middle Ages. The tour starts at the city pond, goes along the old city wall to the Kapuzinerturm with his gothic style roof and an exhibition about the "Farmers War" in the 16th century. Through the "butchers-hole" you reach the new designed city square. On the way there will be brass music at the southern city wall. Afterwards you will enjoy organ music from Radstadts most famous son, Paul Hofheimer, in the church.
