During the day the Almbar is a popular ski chalet which is visited by skiers of the Faschinglifts. In the evening the Almbar converts into a fine restaurant with excellent food.

Every Thursday there is live music in the evening. The menu is extensive and sure to be something for every taste. On the wine list you will find the best Austrian wines.

The name of the region can be found in large letters as a wooden construction on the Schlossalmbahn in Bad Hofgastein.
