Visiting Wagrain-Kleinarl in 2021 and 2023

The 10th edition of Red Bull X-Alps starts on June 20, 2021. Wagrain-Kleinarl as a mandatory stopover and as the host of the prologue and the previous week as preparation for the toughest adventure race in the world.

The 33 athletes from 17 nations, including 13 rookies and 3 women, only have to walk and paraglide past turnpoints from Salzburg to Mont Blanc and back in this race. The route, which is around 1,200 kilometers long, will also play an important role in 2021.

Experience the participants up close in the middle of the Salzburg Alps and follow your favorites online in live tracking on the further course of the route to the finish.

Be there live when the athletes compete for the best seats and rewards!

The participants in the Red Bull X-Alps fight their way across the Alps for around 1,200 kilometers.

The 2nd turnpoint – this is where the participants change
Direction – is in Wagrain-Kleinarl. The route between the turnpoints is not fixed and the athletes can choose their route freely. The better the wind, the better it goes faster.

The arrival of the athletes in Wagrain-Kleinarl on Sunday, June 20, depends on the weather and can therefore unfortunately not be precisely predicted. If the flying weather is good, the first athletes will reach the turnpoint in Wagrain-Kleinarl in the early afternoon, but later if the flying conditions are unfavorable.
