During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Steinbockalm some special highlights.

You should definitely not miss out on the regional dishes of the Steinbock Alm menu.
 

The guest is king. Even at Easter. And especially in the Hochkönig region. Because the Easter Bunny is with us on the slopes. The Hochkönig ski area has agreed an exclusive contract with the children loving long-eared bat.

The Loosbühelalm is also open in winter.

Enjoy a fantastic winter scenery at 1,769 m (away from the ski slopes). You can reach the Alm with tourn skis, snowshoes, on foot or with a taxi. The cozy parlors invite you to rest, where you will be spoiled with farm products. Toboggans are available for hire on the Loosbühelalm.

The Alpentaverne is located at 1320 m above sea level directly at the mountain station of the 8-seater Hochbrand cable car and has been a family business for generations. Here you can enjoy home-style cooking, quick snacks, soups and sweets such as yeast dumplings, strudel and much more.
