Planai

The culinary highlight of the Schladming-Dachstein region!
The AlmArenA impresses with excellent food and a relaxed atmosphere right on the ski slope at the Hauser Kaibling valley station.

The extensive menu offers much more than an "ordinary" ski hut. Only high quality products are processed and drinks and food are served just as the chefs, Christian Gappmayr and Christian Steiner, would like to enjoy themselves!

You want to be up to date before your visit – then you will find all information such as. the menu and drinks menu at www.almarena.at

Opening times: daily from 8:00 a.m., ideal for early risers who want to start a perfect day of skiing with a delicious breakfast ;-)

Play billiards or a game of darts, enjoy a good drink or even come by for dinner. The Ball'azzo Billiard Pub offers everything for a perfect night out.

The Lärchkogel lift on the Planai takes you high up. The panorama deck on the roof of the mountain station invites you to enjoy the view. In addition to the fantastic view of the Dachstein massif, you will also find a Skiline Live-Photopoint here. Here you can take a photo with your ski pass and then call it up online.

Anyone who has reached the summit of the Stubnerkogel should definitely not miss the viewpoint. Because from here you have a magnificent view of the surrounding snow-covered mountains and the Großglockner (3.798 m), one of Austria's landmarks, even in winter.

Right in the middle of Salzburg's Grossarl Valley, the Hotel Tauernhof awaits you and with it also many experiences between nature enjoyment and relaxation. With us you will enjoy the wonderful things that make our lives so unique: Family, friends, the view into the distance and of the snow-covered mountains, a smile on your face and the good feeling of having arrived.

The Tauernhof offers the ideal starting point for your skiing holiday - located directly at the ski lift and the ski slope, nothing stops you from conquering the surrounding mountains in the morning. Perfect conditions in the Dorfgastein-Großarltal skiing area and the fascinating mountain world provide you with a skiing holiday in a class of its own, whether you are a beginner or a wedel pro.

We don't have to hide when it comes to culinary delights either. Chef Andreas Gratz cooks the way we are: Original & good. The secret ingredients of our cuisine, which has meanwhile been awarded 2 Falstaff Gabels, are actually not so secret at all: passion, love for the original product and a good pinch of creativity. Variety plays a very important role in our cuisine and we also like to take a look beyond the region's culinary horizons - but always with the awareness that sustainability is part of it.
