7 things you will miss when you leave the Ski amadé
Unfortunately, the nicest places a country has to offer have to be left at some point. You have a great time there but after a while, you have to return to everyday life and its responsibilities and go back home. This is exactly what happened to me after a 5-month-internship at Ski amadé – at some point, it was time to return home. I will share with you what I will miss after my wonderful time in Ski amadé:
When you have got the time one day and when the weather is great, the snow is perfect both on and off the slopes, then it is time to do a tour from St.Johann to Wagrain and back again. This tour is a combination between technical climbing assistance and one’s own muscle power. So off we go with the touring skis (which of course are also great on the slopes) from the Bauhof (building yard) in St.Johann.
Skiing or snowboarding? A question, which certainly a lot of winter sports people have asked themselves. Mainly people tend to stick with what they learnt as a child. Or do they? But why skiing is simply cooler than snowboarding, I will reveal now:
