The present building that houses the museum, the "Hoamathaus", was built around 1408 and was mainly used in former times to accommodate the miners who mined ore in the region, and especially in Flachau.

Naturrodelbahn mit einer Länge von 3 km mit Ende direkt in Flachau!

Spezialisierung: Der Berggasthof Sattelbauer, einer der schönsten Berggasthöfe im Salzburgerland auf 1300 Metern Höhe inmitten von Wald und Wiesen, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der herrliche Ausblick zum Griesenkar, dem mächtigen Dachstein-Massiv und der ehrfürchtigen Bischofsmütze lässt wohl jedes Wanderherz höher schlagen! Unser Lokal ist mit Holz aus einem 300 Jahre alten Bauernhaus ausgestattet. Unsere Stuben strahlen Gemütlichkeit, Behagen und herzliche Gastlichkeit aus. Die liebevollen Details erinnern an Tradition und Brauchtum. Unsere Küche ist herzhaft und bodenständig, die Produkte größtenteils aus eigener Landwirtschaft. Die hausgemachte Sulze, das Wiener Schnitzel aus der Pfanne, der deftige Bauernschmaus, die wunderbaren Schweinemedaillons oder Wildspezialitäten sind nur einige unserer Spezialitäten. Zum süßen Abschluss laden die warme Mohntorte, Strudeln und Eis-Desserts ein. Wir sind sowohl für große Feiern als auch für Busse gerüstet. Über die neu errichtete Straße von Flachau aus sind wir problemlos und einfach zu erreichen. Wir bitten um Vorreservierung! The 'Stöcklhütte' features a very tasty, fast, and hearty cuisine. The hut at an altitude of 1.250 metres above sea level is reachable by car, and seen that, even evening events can be organised. Groups are welcome on request!

Let us spoil you in winter in our hut and on our sun terrace in the best location! Originally the Sommererbauer's stables, our "Stadl" has blossomed into one of the most rustic après-ski huts in Dienten am Hochkönig. The original year 1806 on the beam in the centre of the Bründl Stadl bears witness to its historical origins. Our open fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere in our Stadl. On our terrace you can enjoy the sun and at the same time admire the marvellous panorama of the incomparable Hochkönig.

We offer traditional cuisine. Especially the freshly prepared spare ribs are a favourite among our guests from our extensive menu. Our wine list is certainly a highlight! We try to give you a small overview of different Austrian wines with an enormous range. Let our 2 young sommeliers Lukas and Michael advise you.

Ski & Wine Enjoyment Week from 9th to 16th March, 2024

During the Ski and Wine Enjoyment Week from 9th to 16th March 2024, 60 different Austrian wine rarities from top winegrowers (Prager, Kollwentz, Knoll, etc.) will also be offered by the glass throughout the week. This gives guests an unusual opportunity to enjoy Austrian wines of the highest quality.

There are three lighted lanes. Our snow cannon ensures that the Railways are in top condition. At the "Rösteralm" there are snowtubes to borrow.
