Coming from Wagrain via the Flying Mozart and from Flachau via Starjet 3, you are on the one hand, at a pivotal point in the ski area, and on the other hand in a very significant place: A monument in the form of a summit cross is located in the immediate vicinity.

From the terrace, the view of the Steinerne Meer with the Hochkönig is a feast for the eyes. At only 950 m above sea level, we offer hikers and cyclists a snack, warm home cooking and home-made pastries in summer. In the winter, we offer hearty and regional mountain food for lunch and dinner. Parking available, directly at the hut.

The ski rental INTERSPORT Wagrain is not only a specialist in appropriate footwear, but also provides first-class ski and snowboard equipment. Rent your equipment directly at the base station of the red 8-seat cable car and start without detours into snow fun. Tthe friendly INTERSPORT Rent team is at your disposal for fast covering and binding between checks at any time.

In Grossarl and Hüttschlag you can go cross country skiing on 25 km of tracked trails. For the most part, the trails in our region are tracked for classic as well as “skating” technique.

In Grossarl as well as Hüttschlag, there are cross-country trails lit up after dark on certain days. The ca. 2 km-long night trail in Grossarl is at the Reitwiese, open to skiers Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 until 8:30 p.m. In Hüttschlag, there is a ca. 3 km-long floodlit trail next to the Aschaustüberl. This is available to all skiers on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 6 and 8:30 p.m.

Intersport Arena in Flachau, inmitten des Skiparadieses Ski amadé, bietet die hochwertigsten Marken und Materialien für den Wintersport. Unser Anliegen ist es unsere zwei Sportshops mit innovativen und neuen Produkten auszustatten. In unseren Shops – 1x im Gebäude der Talstation vom Achterjet sowie 1x in der “Alpenarena” beim Starjet 1 wird Qualität großgeschrieben.
