Ski amadé from A to Z

In Grossarl and Hüttschlag you can go cross country skiing on 25 km of tracked trails. For the most part, the trails in our region are tracked for classic as well as “skating” technique.

In Grossarl as well as Hüttschlag, there are cross-country trails lit up after dark on certain days. The ca. 2 km-long night trail in Grossarl is at the Reitwiese, open to skiers Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 until 8:30 p.m. In Hüttschlag, there is a ca. 3 km-long floodlit trail next to the Aschaustüberl. This is available to all skiers on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 6 and 8:30 p.m.

Die gemütliche und sehr urige Lena-Alm-Hütte auf 1.600 Meter Seehöhe bietet mit seiner großer Sonnenterrasse Platz für 250 Personen. Genießen Sie die herrliche Aussicht auf das gewaltige Dachsteinmassiv und das schöne Ennstal.

The "Stoni´s Rauchkuchl" is right next to the mountain station of the 8-seater gondola Hauser Kaibling.

• one is situated in Alpendorf (only open during winter months)
• one is situated in the city centre of Sankt Johann

The mountain restaurant Bodenalm is one of the ski lodges in Zauchensee/Flachauwinkl. Skiers make their stop-off here and non-skiers can travel comfortably with the Highliner I on the top. Treat yourself to the dreamlike sun terrace and a  little time out and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views.
