Because up here, 1000 meters above sea level, embedded in this unique mountain and hilly landscape, sin seems to have been born. Whereby: "There’s no sin on the mountain pasture" – and so we indulge in enjoyment and joie de vivre together and no longer ask about who did or what. The Talwirt is located at the end of the Hüttschlag valley and is known for its regional specialties and homemade National Park ice cream. The Talwirt features a spooky Krampus mask exhibition and the "Mountain Forest" National Park exhibition on the first floor.

In the Bergheimat at 1,200 metres above sea level, you can experience the feeling of freedom, unique views, surrounded by nature and palpable tranquillity. Regional products from the Austrian gourmet regions and the surrounding area are valued and cooked here. The origin of the food is particularly important to the hosts, as is the personalised service for guests and their passion for good wine. 

‘I have tasted all the wines and know almost every face of the winemaker,’ says Sieglinde. She hikes to the surrounding mountain pastures and visits her favourite places on the Hochkönig, tastes wines on the mountain, picks and gets to know herbs. If there is time, there is of course also a ski day with the guests in between, including a stop for refreshments! ‘Social meals’ and themed evenings await special gourmets and you certainly won't go home without chatting with Sieglinde or Nathalie.

What could be nicer than stopping in a rustic hut after a great day of skiing or a ski tour and being pampered there? The Tiergarten Alm is at 1540 meters and there is not only the most delicious Kaiserschmarren and enjoyment with our specialties, but also the most wonderful panorama and the most magnificent view!
