Enjoy the warm and cozy atmosphere of the rustic dining room at the Valeriehaus in Sportgastein. Liene and Otto treat you to local specialties and delicious, hearty favorites. Out on the sunniest terrace in Gastein valley (with loungers available for free), the imposing scenery of the Hohe Tauern reveals itself before you.

Our "experience restaurant" with guest kindergarten and sports shop at the "Abergbahn" invites you to dinner (beef from our own organic farm!), Après ski or for cozy hours.

Enjoyment means something different for everyone. Some love to relax on vacation, to eat well and to unwind. The others relax actively while skiing, biking or hiking. Our pleasure hotel is located in the heart of Altenmarkt, near Zauchensee, and is the ideal starting point for all these activities. With us you can be who you are. The only important thing is that you enjoy your vacation. If we can do that, we will have achieved our goal.

Our large garden is located in the center of Altenmarkt and is set up like a park. Our area comprises 3 houses: a wellness house, our country house, the main house with restaurant and a rustic alpine hut in the center.

The ownes of the Wastlalm are always endeavour to serve their guests seasonal freshly cooked dishes.
They are popular for their various and broad selection of dumplings, "Bauernkrapfen" and the well-known Kaiserschmarrn.

4.5 km-long natural toboggan run from Gasthof Kopphütte to the village. Toboggan rental at Gasthof Kopphütte.

Schneesportschule Gastein: mit gleich drei Standorten in Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein und Dorfgastein! 

Die Zachhofalm lädt zum Entspannen, Aufwärmen und Genießen in uriger und gemütlicher Atmosphäre ein. Direkt an der Zachhofalmbahn bzw. Piste gelegen.

The 'Stöcklhütte' features a very tasty, fast, and hearty cuisine. The hut at an altitude of 1.250 metres above sea level is reachable by car, and seen that, even evening events can be organised. Groups are welcome on request!

Daniel Mairamhof, the innkeeper, has wholeheartedly specialised on local produce and selected wines. Hence, it is for a good reason that the hut 'Krummholzhütte' has become Austria's  '1. Genusshütte' and it has been presented the award "Europe's most popular ski hut 2013 & 2011".

Many celebrity guests come together here, as, for instance, for the event "Schneegenuss mit Haubenkoch Johann Lafer!" (delicacies with top chef Johann Laferl) or for the shooting of Hansi Hinterseer's "Wintertraum in Schladming"!

What to expect in the BIKE WORLD:

The BIKE world provides you with support at the highest level:

• E-bike rental in Wagrain and Kleinarl
• professionally competent guiding by our partner JJBiking
• On-site bike service
• Bike shop

Only e-bikes are rent, from 20 "children's bicycles to hardtails (only suspension fork), fullys (fully suspended) and hardtails with a low step-through. Of course, it is also possible to rent a trailer from Thule (Chariot) with it nothing stands in the way of a family trip with the little ones.

Pump it:
Visit the mountain bike skills area in Kleinarl directly at our location with a new pump track and riding technique exercises for all skill levels. Here you can learn the necessary technique in a playful way to ride the trails safely.
