Skiing in Wagrain
Wagrain made history with the opening of the G-LINK cable car which spans the valley.
By linking the two ski areas of Grießenkareck and Grafenberg with a cable car, a "gap" in the ski circuit has been closed in a spectacular manner. For the first time, skiers can move back and forth between Flachau and St. Johann/Alpendorf without having to take the bus. Doing so is especially enjoyable thanks to well-groomed pistes, and particularly spectacular due to G-LINK.
The new cable car opens up a pisted area of 415 hectares, with 120 kilometres of pistes and a total of 45 ultra-modern lift systems.
