More than 800 sheep spend their summer holidays on the green meadows of Hauser Kaibling every year. The alpine lamb project was originally started in 2008 as an EU LEADER project and has developed excellently to this day.
The focus is on producing a high-quality product – the "Ennstal Lamm". At the same time, the alpine landscape is ecologically cared for, biodiversity is preserved and overgrowth is prevented. The highlight of the Almlammprojekt is the annual "Styrian Almlammfest".
