Once a year, no matter what the weather is like, the children in Radstadt have the command – at the "Mega Children's Day". On July 24th 2022 (10.00 am – 6.00 pm) the historic old town of Radstadt is once again stormed by thousands of children at this unique children's festival in Salzburg. There is a lot to paint – cars, walls, shop windows and faces – to admire and to try out inside the thick city walls. Who dares to go on the huge adventure slide? Who dares to climb the 10 m high climbing wall?
In between shaking hands with Mickey Mouse and his friends and on to the Indian village or to the treasure hunt in a haystack. For the youngest and the older ones there is a storyteller, a magician and of course the petting zoo. A high rope course and the children's rodeo ensure the fun! In total more than 60 game stations can be tried out.
