During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Steinbockalm some special highlights. 

Culinary treats with regional delicacies

You should definitely not miss out on the regional dishes of the Steinbock Alm menu.
 

The Radstadt/Altenmarkt ski area is an insider tip for skiers and toboggan fans in Ski amadé. On the small but very fine ski mountain, all 4 main lifts come together on the "Kemahdhöhe", the central point of the ski area.

Up here, in addition to the start of the 6km long Königslehen toboggan run and the popular photo motif mascot "Kinigl", there is also a sacred place with the Holy Family made of "Sölker marble" and a summit cross made of old lift parts. This place invites you to linger and relax with a magnificent view. 

What to expect in the BIKE WORLD:

The BIKE world provides you with support at the highest level:

• E-bike rental in Wagrain and Kleinarl
• professionally competent guiding by our partner JJBiking
• On-site bike service
• Bike shop

Only e-bikes are rent, from 20 "children's bicycles to hardtails (only suspension fork), fullys (fully suspended) and hardtails with a low step-through. Of course, it is also possible to rent a trailer from Thule (Chariot) with it nothing stands in the way of a family trip with the little ones.

Pump it:
Visit the mountain bike skills area in Kleinarl directly at our location with a new pump track and riding technique exercises for all skill levels. Here you can learn the necessary technique in a playful way to ride the trails safely.

It is our aim to implement the "art of simplicity" in the kitchen and service. To prepare traditional and well-tried things with love. Forget the daily grind for a while and enjoy the wonderful view of the Grießenkar in Flachau, the Bischofsmütze in Filzmoos and the imposing Dachstein massif in the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region or our local mountain, the Lackenkogel.

Our mountain inn with its cozy and unique atmosphere is ideal for celebrations for families, for baptisms, weddings, birthdays or simply to stop off after a hike.

The Schoarlhütte is located in the middle of the "World Cup Downhill". It offers a wonderful view of the Dachstein massif and is one of the alpine ski huts on the Hauser Kaibling.

At the Schoarlhütte, a good mood and a great atmosphere are very important – the landlords take care of that personally. Whether on the sheltered sun terrace, on the nail stick or in the rustic hut, everyone will find their place here.

The mountain restaurant Bodenalm is one of the ski lodges in Zauchensee/Flachauwinkl. Skiers make their stop-off here and non-skiers can travel comfortably with the Highliner I on the top. Treat yourself to the dreamlike sun terrace and a  little time out and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views.

Then it is time for Berg-Leben (mountain-life). Breathe in the fresh mountain air, live our freedom with us and enjoy the stunning nature. Was die österreichischen Profi-Skispringer in höchster Vollendung zeigen, können nun auch Hobbysportler im Ansatz erlernen. Den Teilnehmern werden nach und nach wichtige Grundbegriffe in Bezug auf materiallehre, Imitationstraining und Sprungtechnik beigebracht. Das Skisprungmaterial wird auf jeden Einzelnen angepasst und von der Skisprungschule zur Verfügung gestellt. Bei den wöchentlichen Schnupperkursen gehen die Teilnehmer mit den eigenen Alpin-Skiern über den Schanzentisch.
