Enthusiasm for winter sports – that´s contagious: The dedicated staff at INTERSPORT Rent is not only at your disposal in choosing your ski or snowboard gear, but also to treat your equiment with professional care and maintenance. Even more: they are passionate athletes who like to share their advice and personal experiencesin terms of skis, board and pistes with their customers.

Whether freestyle or alpine skiers, young or old – all skiers of different tastes, ages and skill levels can count on individual advice and professional service at INTERSPORT Kerschbaumer, Alpine Village Hotel Alpina. While your equipment is serviced by the INTERSPORT Rent coaches and made ready for use on the slopes, you can look for fashionable sports and casual wear by top brands on the first floor of the ski rental. An opportunity that should not be missed!

During the day the Almbar is a popular ski chalet which is visited by skiers of the Faschinglifts. In the evening the Almbar converts into a fine restaurant with excellent food.

Every Thursday there is live music in the evening. The menu is extensive and sure to be something for every taste. On the wine list you will find the best Austrian wines.

The 'Stöcklhütte' features a very tasty, fast, and hearty cuisine. The hut at an altitude of 1.250 metres above sea level is reachable by car, and seen that, even evening events can be organised. Groups are welcome on request!

Zum Shuttleberg verkehren die Linienbusse in beiden Tälern als Gratisskibusse.

Zwischen Wagrain – Kleinarl und zwischen Radstadt – Flachauwinkl fahren, bis auf Weiteres, die Linienbusse im Winterfahrplan, mit den Haltestellen an den Talstationen der Bergbahnen.

The Wengeralm is located directly on the ski slopes in the Gastein Valley at 1,650 m and offers guests a spacious restaurant, a cozy bar and a sun terrace. In the summer, right in the walking area near the middle station of the summit lift Fulseck located, it is a popular destination for hikers and families. Our cozy parlor with an open fireplace and comfortable seating invites you to spend sociable evenings.

During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Wenger Alm some special highlights. 

Our Waldgasthof is a real insider tip. Whether in front of the tiled stove or in one of the cozy parlors... you will feel right at home here. In our well chosen menu you find traditional home style food of our region: local game, trouts from our own fish farm, Wiener Schnitzel, Kaiserschmarrn...

Just spend an unforgettable day in our leisure oasis. Besides culinary special treats we offer adventures for the whole family: archery, fishing and gold panning.

In winter: located right next to the ski slope B20 – absolut worth a visit!

In 3-D archery course you strengthen your stamina, muscle and concentration and test your skill with a bow and arrow. Participation in a course is recommend (by appointment only).

In Grossarl and Hüttschlag you can go cross country skiing on 25 km of tracked trails. For the most part, the trails in our region are tracked for classic as well as “skating” technique.

In Grossarl as well as Hüttschlag, there are cross-country trails lit up after dark on certain days. The ca. 2 km-long night trail in Grossarl is at the Reitwiese, open to skiers Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 until 8:30 p.m. In Hüttschlag, there is a ca. 3 km-long floodlit trail next to the Aschaustüberl. This is available to all skiers on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 6 and 8:30 p.m.
