Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski circuit
It's very often love at second glance
The Kehmadhöhe between Radstadt and Altenmarkt im Pongau is a small and fine ski mountain. Nevertheless, the mountain has a very strong fan base. The ski resort shines with 17 km of slopes and eight modern lifts with very special qualities: this begins with the easy access, only a few minutes drive from the Tauern motorway.
Also stress-free is the ascent with the modern gondola lifts from Altenmarkt or Radstadt. Once at the top, the winter sports fans first enjoy a magnificent 360-degree panoramic view. This can be experienced in peace, because up here at 1,571 metres altitude you can find winter sports without the usual hustle and bustle. The wide and clear slopes are ideal for leisure cyclists and families. Optimal terrain for relaxed carving turns – parents will find it reassuring to have such a great view of the kids. Along the slopes, there are classic mountain inns and ski lodges, which treat their guests to regional specialities.

Something cool, that's not just for kids
Classic skiing is not the only strength of the ski resort
Winter sports enthusiasts, whether they are young or young at heart, can look forward to the cool Funslope Königslehen and the small Beginnerpark, where they can take their first steps and jumps in terms of freestyle in Radstadt-Altenmarkt. Fichtelland, next to the Hochbifangbahn train in Altenmarkt, is a children's paradise with Kids Funslope, Fichtelslalom and some interesting encounters: the Fichtel are small, charming creatures that grow from pine cones and tell many interesting stories about the forest and the animals.
The ski resort is famous for its toboggan run. The longest illuminated toboggan run in the Salzburger Sportwelt starts directly at the mountain station of the 8-person Königslehenbahn and carries on for six kilometres with many varied curves down to Radstadt and directly to the valley station of the Königslehenbahn. Tobogganing is popular with locals and guests alike. Take the cable car uphill, and then head downhill at great speed. By the way, you can get rental sledges at the Königslehen valley station in Radstadt.
Offer for ski tourers
Ski tourers have two perfectly groomed ascent tracks to the Kemahdhöhe at their disposal: the central elevation in the heart of the Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski circuit can be reached from Altenmarkt as well as from Radstadt. For holders of a valid ski pass (e.g. multi-day tickets, Ski amadé ALL-IN Cards, SuperSkiCard etc.) use of the ascent tracks is free of charge during regular piste opening times from 8:30 to 16:00. The carrying of the ski pass is checked by turnstiles at the entrance to the tracks and by means of controls on the slopes. Those who do not yet have a valid ski pass or the 5peaks Touring Card for all piste tours in the region can purchase their own touring day ticket or a Ski amadé ALL-IN Piste Tour Card at the lift ticket offices in Altenmarkt and Radstadt or online from this winter.

Here everyone will find their way around and you can't really get lost here, from all four main facilities in the ski resort you can always get back to the same place, on the Kemahdhöhe.
