Summer in Gröbminger Land

From the panoramic mountains Stoderzinken, Kochofen and Pleschnitzzinken, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Tauern mountains, the Gesäuse mountains and as far as Großglockner.

At 2,048 meters, the Stoderzinken rises high above Gröbming and is one of the region's most distinctive peaks in Schladming-Dachstein. It can be reached via an Alpine road as well as a hiking trail. From the summit, you can enjoy a breathtaking view that stretches up to 100 kilometers on clear days. In the summer months, the surrounding area invites you to enjoy varied hikes and via ferratas. Particularly popular is the 19.5-kilometer circular hiking trail from the Stoder car park at 1,829 meters, which leads over the summit and the Grafenbergalm. Along the way, cozy huts invite you to take enjoyable breaks.

The Friedenskircherl on the Stoderzinken was named the most beautiful place in Austria in 2022.
