The ski area Snow Space Salzburg in Flachau, Wagrain and St. Johann, together with the ski connection Flachauwinkl/Zauchensee, is one of Austria’s five largest ski regions and, with its varied range of pistes, including two World Cup runs, modern cable cars and internationally known freestyle and freeride spots, is one of the Alps' most diverse winter sports destinations. In the midst of this variety, Wagrain offers winter holidays at the highest level – with cosy huts, unforgettable après-ski and pure skiing pleasure.
Skiing & snowboarding in Wagrain
Wagrain, part of Ski amadé, offers a direct connection between Grießenkareck and Grafenberg with the G-LINK cable car. Skiers and snowboarders enjoy over 210 kilometers of slopes all the way to Flachau and St. Johann. A special highlight is the 12 Peaks Trophy, where winter sports enthusiasts can conquer all twelve peaks between St. Johann/Alpendorf and Zauchensee. Families will find wide, child-friendly slopes, while cozy huts serving regional specialties round off the winter experience.

- Arrival from all over the country with public transport free of charge possible (including Salzburg city trolleybus lines)
- Traffic measures regionally and in long-distance transport
- The goal is a CO2-neutral ski day
For the first time, travel by public transport from all over the state of Salzburg will be free of charge: for this you need a valid lift pass for our ski area!
This offer is made possible through a cooperation between the Snow Space Salzburg cable cars, the Salzburg Transport Association and the State of Salzburg.
12 Peaks Trophy
Thanks to the Panorama Link connecting cable car between Snow Space Salzburg and the neighboring ski areas Flachauwinkl and Zauchensee, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy skiing on 12 peaks, 5 valleys and 210 kilometers of slopes. Anyone who manages to ski all 12 peaks during their ski holiday will be rewarded with a special surprise before heading home.
The access points for the 12 Peaks Tour in Wagrain are the Flying Mozart gondola lift and the Grafenberg cable car
