Skiing and snowboarding on the Shuttleberg

    Our ski area

We don't see ourselves as a ski area, but as a large winter sports park in the 12 Peaks Ski Region! Our well-maintained facilities speak for themselves: from many special pistes for children and adults to the Absolut Park, one of the largest and most popular snowparks in Europe, as well as freeride routes and groomed piste tour routes. Shuttleberg brings together a wide range of unique offers for winter sports enthusiasts of different ages and riding levels. Our focus is on sporty families and freestylers.

Sustainable family ski holiday with action

What is now on everyone's lips has been passed down by the entrepreneurial family on the Shuttleberg for generations and has always been part of the lived company culture. A large family that knows the needs of families and, when developing tourism offerings, keeps these and the careful use of resources in mind and acts accordingly. For this reason, a sustainable family holiday on the Shuttleberg is guaranteed and offers added value for everyone. Since 2021, the Shuttleberg has been the first ski area worldwide to receive the Good Travel Seal of the Green Destinations Foundation. This award confirms that we take the different aspects of sustainability seriously and implement them successfully on the Shuttleberg.

The state-of-the-art and comfortable cable cars, known here as shuttles, are exclusively fast detachable chairlifts. The only exception is the new Panorama Link connecting lift to Wagrain-Flachau, a spacious 10-seater gondola with ventilation. In addition, the Shuttleberg offers excellent ski schools and snowboard schools with experienced instructors and fun outdoor events every week for the whole family. Spend varied and active days on the Shuttleberg together with your children!

    Family Run

    A special experience for children

The Family Run is ideal for kids and families who want to explore the Shuttleberg in a playful way. This easy route follows blue pistes and wide paths past 19 stations, where giant Crazy Dolls are waiting for you. Children who have visited all stations receive a fun sticker picture book and stickers at the ticket offices as a gift.

In total, the Family Run is 19 kilometres long and takes you across both sides of the mountain.

Ride the Family Run and collect your reward
Pick up a participation card (punch card) at one of the ticket offices in Flachauwinkl or Kleinarl. It lists all the stations. At each station there is a punch attached, with which you can punch your card in the right place. Once you have punched all stations, exchange your participation card at a ticket office for your reward.

    Sun House

    Ideal for a ski break
Here you can warm up again, refuel with snacks you brought along and hot tea, but also let off steam, play together or watch funny cartoon films. While our little guests are busy, the adults can relax without a problem.

    Fun Run

    For little wild ones
The Fun Run above the Sun House is a short, piste-separated route specially for children and beginners. In addition to many colourful, padded Crazy Dolls, you can expect an easy-to-ride wave run here. The weekly Kids Day takes place every Tuesday at 13.00 on the Fun Run.

    Fun events

There's always something going on at the Shuttleberg! Every week you can take part in the Kids Day, the Shuttle Games or the Speed Race. For children, we organise a few wild parties with the Crazy Dolls and life-sized Easter bunnies.

We invite all adults to the Mega Ski & Snowboard Test or the SAAC Camp. For freestylers, we recommend the contests in the Absolut Park. By the way, these competitions are also exciting to watch.
