What’s more, the ski resort can be reached quickly and easily via the A10 Tauern motorway. From winter 2026/27, a new era will begin at Monte Popolo: the modern 8-seater Popolo I gondola lift will replace the existing double chairlift, making it even more comfortable for families, beginners and leisure skiers to enjoy the slopes in future.

Monte Popolo in Eben is the ideal family ski resort for relaxing winter days and those first turns in the snow together. In the spacious Kinderland with its platter lift, young winter sports enthusiasts can learn to ski through play. On the varied adventure slope, lovingly designed figures and playful elements provide extra fun and encourage further runs.
From the 26/27 winter season onwards, the new 8-seater ‘Popolo 1’ gondola lift will take families and beginners up the mountain quickly and in comfort – and back down again if needed, should the run to the valley still be too challenging for the little ones.
Monte Popolo also has plenty to offer in terms of cuisine: cosy ski huts serve up regional specialities, hearty delicacies and sweet classics of Austrian cuisine. Sunny terraces and a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere invite you to recharge your batteries before heading back out onto the slopes.
