2. Purpose of data processing
Ski amadé processes personal data of employees, partners, customers and suppliers for the purpose of carrying out business needs and thus comply with the associated legal and contractual requirements.

2.1 Collection of customer data
In the process of acquiring a ticket in the online shop, or at one of our cash registers, we collect and process - dependent on the product – the first name, last name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth and photo in order to carry out the booking and payment process.

2.2 Access control
It should be noted that, for the purposes of access control, a reference photo of the lift pass holder / the owner of the lift pass is taken when a camera equipped turnstile is passed through for the first time. This reference photo is compared by the lift crew with those photos taken each time a camera-equipped turnstile is passed. 

The reference photo will be deleted immediately after expiry of the validity of the lift pass, the other photos will be deleted no later than 30 minutes after passing through a turnstile.

It should be noted that there is also the possibility to purchase lift passes, which are technically configured in a way that no photo is taken when passing through a turnstile. However random lift pass checks by the lift staff may be carried out.

2.3 Registration in the online shop
Optionally, to place an order as ‘guest’, people can also create an account in the web shop to access past orders. At the same time, the stored data is automatically used for new orders and users do not have to enter their data manually again.

In order to provide these services, we process personal information that you may provide during the registration process or at a later date. These details include your name, email address, your date of birth, a self-chosen password and your address.

You can delete your account at any time, and we delete all data that is not subject to the statutory storage obligations.

To use all services offered in the app, registration is required. For this purpose, we process the personal data you provide in the registration process. This includes your name, email address, date of birth and a self-chosen password.

2.5 Photo points
Throughout the ski areas are several photo points which you can use to take pictures. When using such a photo point, a picture is taken and published online.

Some of the photo points are operated by Alturos Destinations GmbH (Skiline). These are not covered in this privacy policy and are not the responsibility of Ski amadé. Ski amadé therefore cannot assume any liability for the privacy policy of the operator.

2.6 Skiline
Via the website you can reach the external service of ‘Skiline’. Here you can view your personal height profile. Skiline receives the information of the turnstiles you have passed through and your lift pass number to create a height profile. Thus, no personal data will be disclosed.

When you enter the Skiline service through our website, you leave our website and we can assume no liability for any of the services provided on the Skiline website.

2.7 Applicants
The contact details and application documents submitted in the course of an application will be electronically processed by us with the purpose of selecting suitable candidates for employment.
In case of rejection, and only with your permission, will the information be kept for future consideration.

2.8.1 IP address

When visiting our website, information is automatically stored on the web server. This information includes the usage of the browser, the operating system, which page brought you to our website, the IP address, the time of access and other information. This data is pseudonymised and is not accessible by Ski amadé. No data can be assigned to individual people without further data sources.
Ski amadé does not evaluate this data as long as there is no illegal use of the website.

2.8.2 Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. 2.9 Accommodation arrangements
The data provided in the search of an accommodation enquiry / holiday enquiry are forwarded to the accommodation providers for the purpose of arranging accommodation.

2.10 Newsletter
If you agree to receive the newsletter, we will use the data provided by you, such as title, first name, surname and email address to keep you regularly informed on news from the ski region, the companies and current offers. In order to process the distribution of the newsletter, the above-mentioned data will be forwarded solely to SC-Networks GmbH (Enzianstr. 2, D-82319 Starnberg, Germany). If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or contact directly.

2.11 Competitions
From time to time, there is an opportunity to take part in competitions organised by Ski amadé. Personal data (email address, name, address) will also be collected and processed for the purpose of these campaigns. The personal data collected for such a competition will be used exclusively for the processing of the promotion (in the case of a competition, for example, for determining the prize, notifying you of the outcome and sending the prize). The data provided by the participants will be deleted after the end of a promotion. Your data collected in the course of the competition will only be used to receive newsletters if you have given your explicit consent.

3. Principles regarding the processing of personal data
The processing of personal data is based on strict principles which consider the protection and security of the data, as well as the rights of the parties concerned as the highest priority.

Legality & Transparency
Data will be processed lawfully and in good faith. When the data is collected, the person concerned shall be informed of the planned processing and handling of the data. In this way, the people concerned are informed at least of the following points:

All Ski amadé employees and the employees of the operating companies are contractually bound to secrecy and are regularly informed and trained in the safe handling of personal and other critical data.

The protection of confidentiality, availability and integrity of data is a crucial task of Ski amadé. This applies equally to trade secrets, customer data, personal data and other critical information. For this purpose, technical and organizational security measures are established and continuously improved in accordance with the state of the art and internationally recognized best practices as well as security standards.

6. Data protection officer
Ski amadé does not need to appoint a data protection officer, we refer to article 37, paragraph 1 of the EU-DSGVO.
Ski amadé is, of course, aware of its responsibilities in the handling of personal data and will take all necessary measures and regulations to fulfil this responsibility. Ski amadé has made it its business to continuously transform, check and improve the set data protection measures.

7. Rights of the parties concerned
Any person, whose personal data is processed by Ski amadé, has the right at any time to invoke and exercise their rights where they are concerned. In order to exercise your rights, you can write to at any time.

Parties concerned can request information at any time as to which personal data about them is processed and what purposes this processing serves.

Parties concerned have the right to request the immediate rectification of incorrect personal data concerning them.

Parties concerned shall have the right to object to the processing, if the accuracy of the data concerning them is disputed, the processing unlawful, no longer necessary for the processing or the people concerned have objected to the processing

Parties concerned have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning them. Parties concerned have the right to obtain the personal data concerning them that they have provided to Ski amadé in a structured, common and machine-readable format. You also have the right to request the transfer of this data to another person in charge, if technically feasible. The transferability only applies to personal data processed through automated procedures.

Deletion – right to be forgotten
The parties concerned shall have the right to demand the immediate erasure of personal data concerning him or her if the legal basis for processing the data is lacking or ceases to exist, if the processing is opposed, if the processing is unlawful and if there are no legal periods for its retention which prevent its deletion.

Personal data will only be transmitted conforming with applicable laws and on a lawful basis as well as in compliance with the highest standards of confidentiality and data security. As part of the joint processing of personal data in the cash register and access systems, data is exchanged between all operating companies of the ski regions in which the lift pass is valid, and all partner companies listed on our website and in our leaflets. This data exchange serves the purpose of joint access control and the handling of a comprehensive ski operation. Ski amadé makes use of various contract processors. All contract processors are contractually bound by a contract processing agreement to comply with the legally applicable data protection regulations.

Ski amadé attaches great importance to the continuous improvement of quality and processes.
The compliance with data protection guidelines and current legislation as well as the effectiveness of data protection and data security measures are constantly measured and improved in order to ensure that privacy practices run smoothly.
