The Loosbühelalm is also open in winter.

Enjoy a fantastic winter scenery at 1,769 m (away from the ski slopes). You can reach the Alm with tourn skis, snowshoes, on foot or with a taxi. The cozy parlors invite you to rest, where you will be spoiled with farm products. Toboggans are available for hire on the Loosbühelalm.

The Radstadt/Altenmarkt ski area is an insider tip for skiers and toboggan fans in Ski amadé. On the small but very fine ski mountain, all 4 main lifts come together on the "Kemahdhöhe", the central point of the ski area.

Up here, in addition to the start of the 6km long Königslehen toboggan run and the popular photo motif mascot "Kinigl", there is also a sacred place with the Holy Family made of "Sölker marble" and a summit cross made of old lift parts. This place invites you to linger and relax with a magnificent view. 

Daniel Mairamhof, the innkeeper, has wholeheartedly specialised on local produce and selected wines. Hence, it is for a good reason that the hut 'Krummholzhütte' has become Austria's  '1. Genusshütte' and it has been presented the award "Europe's most popular ski hut 2013 & 2011".

Many celebrity guests come together here, as, for instance, for the event "Schneegenuss mit Haubenkoch Johann Lafer!" (delicacies with top chef Johann Laferl) or for the shooting of Hansi Hinterseer's "Wintertraum in Schladming"!

During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Sternalm some special highlights. 

Here you will find the perfect complement for your summer vacation in Flachau. At Bike Flachau you rent high-quality and state-of-the-art equipment with the highest safety standards. All rental bikes are checked and tested. For e-bike beginners we offer riding safety training with tips and tricks for the ideal cycling pleasure. And on our guided e-bike tours we also show you the beauties of the Salzburg region.

GRATIS SKIBUS
Zum Shuttleberg verkehren die Linienbusse in beiden Tälern als Gratisskibusse.

Zwischen Wagrain – Kleinarl und zwischen Radstadt – Flachauwinkl fahren, bis auf Weiteres, die Linienbusse im Winterfahrplan, mit den Haltestellen an den Talstationen der Bergbahnen.
