You will be spoiled at the Gabühelhütte in the Hochkönig region, especially with Pinzgau specialties, because the "farmer's donuts" made by the landlady Klara are known far beyond the borders. There is a new panorama platform to discover on the Schlossalm. The platform offers visitors a great view over the entire Schlossalm area. The Schlossalm view rises above the rocks, which is why it creates the feeling of floating. In the bottom of the viewing platform there is a transparent grid, which allows a sensational view into the depths. On the platform there is a bench to rest, have a snack or just enjoy the view.

The perfect start into pure skiing pleasure: with its parking guarantee, the Hauser Kaibling is the ideal access point to the Schladming interlinked 4 mountains with 123 slope kilometers.

For the second time already, the modern ski resort has received the award “Best European Ski Area 2013”, scoring with snow reliability, perfectly groomed ski runs, and 15 rustic ski huts  with friendly service. From the highest point of the interlinked 4 mountains, at an altitude of 2015 metres, you enjoy breathtaking panoramic views! The “Genussinsel – Pleasure Island” with free of charge W-LAN invites you to relax before, in-between, and after the most beautiful ski runs.

From the Sonnalm, the toboggan path leads through the snow-covered coniferous forest in serpentines down to the hotel village of Zauchensee at 1,350 m. A gentle route with a constant gradient.
