FreeRIDE Ski amadé

The fascinating thing about freeride tours is to draw your feelings in the snow in complete freedom and breathtaking nature. During such descents can occur through adrenaline influence extreme feelings of happiness which are called FLOW in the freeride scene.

Your guide will also familiarize you with the behavior on the mountain, avalanche transceiver (LVS), avalanche situation, companion rescue, etc..

A nice, comfortable ride up to the middle station of the „Rote 8er“ gondola takes you to the heart of  WAGRAINi's Winterworld.
WAGRAINi will be there when you have your first go at skiing. Try the magic carpet, before you make your first little turns down to WAGRAINi or to the Edelweiß Lift. The loooooooooooooong forest magic carpet takes you to the tubing slope where you can also find the Kids Beginners’ Snowpark. It gets creative in WAGRAINI's dwarf house : painting, handicrafts, picture books etc…. Warm yourself up before you go back out for more fun in the snow. Mum, Dad, Granny, Grandpa... we look after you too! Even if you don’t ski, you can take your pushchair or your sledge in the „Rote 8er“ gondola and have a fun time in the snow. Single tickets for non-skiers are available.

At our Gasthof Mühlbauernstube in Saalfelden, it's not just a love of cookery that takes top priority, the use of high-quality ingredients is also important. They must be fresh and as far as possible from the region. In the cosy parlour you can feast with joy and pleasure or enjoy the warming winter sun on our wonderful sun terrace. Skiers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers and winter hikers - but of course all non-sports enthusiasts and connoisseurs are also welcome here at any time.

From summer 2023, Austria's first swing park awaits you at Gabühel! Two spectacular waterfall swings, four more swings and a playground area with more than 600 m² invite you to linger.
The Gabühel cable car in Dienten and the Hochmais cable car in Hinterthal take you child-safe and comfortably to the swing paradise.

From the Sonnalm, the toboggan path leads through the snow-covered coniferous forest in serpentines down to the hotel village of Zauchensee at 1,350 m. A gentle route with a constant gradient.
