The Laireiter Alm is located at 1,850 m directly next to the Grossarltal panorama station. It offers space for 300 to 350 people in the interior. When the weather is fine, up to 500 people can enjoy the sun on our spacious terrace.

MONDAY: Gala dinner

WEDNESDAY: ‘Weinroas’
Experience the ‘Weinroas’ and be inspired by the exquisite wines of the best Austrian winegrowers, which are presented in 12 selected hotels in Grossarltal. Take advantage of our convenient transfer service or enjoy a relaxing walk from hotel to hotel while collecting stamps in your wine passport to win special prizes.

THURSDAY: Gala menu with wine accompaniment

The Fichtel country on Hochbifang in Altenmarkt
On the Altenmarkt side of the Radstadt / Altenmarkt there on Hochbifang a unique forest with very special trees. In this forest grow namely spruces with extraordinary abilities! Every year in winter the spruce throw their Fichtenzapfen on the forest floor, and from some of these pins there are formed small creatures that exist only in this forest in Altenmarkt: the Fichtel!

Built in 2010 according to plans by Kuehn Malvezzi, it is located right next to the meadows where the horses of the Wetzlgut graze in summer, hence the name »Rossalm«. We fulfill our wish to cook “everyone’s favorite dish” with a fine selection of seasonal delicacies with regionally sustainably produced basic products.

In winter we serve Austrian delicacies for lunch. In the evening we will be happy to spoil you with a candle light dinner! The Rossalm is excellent with a fork in the Falstaff! And thanks to our guests, we have received the "Certificate of Excellence 2016" from TripAdvisor through numerous positive reviews. We would like to thank all guests who have made us this success!

The ‘Alte Stadl’, the charming ski and alpine hut of the Familienhotel Austria, is located in the middle of the fantastic mountain world of the Schladminger Tauern in Styria right next to our hotel and at the valley station of the Hochwurzen summit lift and is easily accessible by car. Skitouren gehen wird immer populärer. Nicht unbedingt im freien Gelände, sondern auch auf ganz normalen Skipisten. Aus diesem Grund gibt es in Gastein die so genannten Skitouren Abende. Jeweils Mittwoch und Freitag ist die Graukogelhütte, und jeden Donnerstag die Stubneralm bis 22 Uhr geöffnet. Die Pistenpräparierung findet erst danach statt. Zusätzlich haben diese beiden Hütten auch in den Vollmondnächten geöffnet. Wer aber das Abenteuer sucht, dem raten wir, sich mit einem unserer best ausgebildetsten Skiführer in Verbindung zu setzen
