Surrounded by the Dachstein massif and the Schladminger Tauern, the restaurant Die Landalm is idyllically located in the picturesque nature of the Schladming district of Untertal. The more than 300 year old farmhouse was restored with great attention to detail and today it promises enjoyment in a very special atmosphere.

The fact that special emphasis was placed on the preservation of the original construction during the restoration can be seen in the old wooden beams and the polished floorboards. It is these warm wood tones in combination with carefully selected elements that give the Landalm its unique character.

The way in which head chef Peter Graf combines the various flavors from Austria is also unique. Fresh, regional products are creatively combined with herbs from the hotel's own garden. This is how culinary delights are created again and again that are known far beyond the borders of the Schladming-Dachstein region.

New-found tradition in the Alpine Beer Pub Markterwirt! The regional roots, the personal style of the Schneider family and the structural conditions constitute a unique atmosphere in the Gasthof in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee. Our house, in the heart of Altenmarkt, is a typical tavern. For guests a place to get to know the country and its people and to experience warm hospitality. In a few minutes only, the Hauser Kaibling ski lifts take you to the highest point of Schladming's four interlinked mountains at 2,015 metres. Once at the top, you can enjoy gorgeous panoramic views across the Ennstal valley and the Dachstein mountains. Take some fun pictures with the pink sheep that awaits you on top!

The Dachstein sky ladder offers pure thrills: twelve steps lead up to a glass platform from which you have a breathtaking view of the Dachstein. This experience is the perfect photo opportunity for lasting memories.

In Grossarl and Hüttschlag you can go cross country skiing on 25 km of tracked trails. For the most part, the trails in our region are tracked for classic as well as “skating” technique.

In Grossarl as well as Hüttschlag, there are cross-country trails lit up after dark on certain days. The ca. 2 km-long night trail in Grossarl is at the Reitwiese, open to skiers Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 until 8:30 p.m. In Hüttschlag, there is a ca. 3 km-long floodlit trail next to the Aschaustüberl. This is available to all skiers on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 6 and 8:30 p.m.
