The Wengeralm is located directly on the ski slopes in the Gastein Valley at 1,650 m and offers guests a spacious restaurant, a cozy bar and a sun terrace. In the summer, right in the walking area near the middle station of the summit lift Fulseck located, it is a popular destination for hikers and families. Our cozy parlor with an open fireplace and comfortable seating invites you to spend sociable evenings.

March 8, 2026: Musical entertainment with the Thierseer
Alpine sounds meet mountain hut flair🎶 The Thierseer music group live at the Wengeralm in Dorfgastein – authentic folk music, a great atmosphere, and unforgettable moments. Accompanied by culinary delicacies from the region and fine wine against a dreamlike mountain backdrop.

March 15, 2026: Musical entertainment by the Kellerratten
Alpine pasture, music, and pure atmosphere 🎉🎶 The Kellerratten live at the Wengeralm in Dorfgastein – lively music, a full hut, and delicious delicacies. Plus fine wine as part of the Ski and Wine Enjoyment Week. Sing along, celebrate, enjoy – that's what Almgaudi is all about! ❄️

It goes without saying that nothing stays the same at the ARX Hotel & Restaurant in Schladming-Rohrmoos. Our guests can look forward to being surprised time and again by innovative interpretations from our head chef Markus Kapeller.

Markus Kapeller enjoys working with seasonal and regional products. The ARX offers its guests a daily changing 3-course menu or ‘classics’ that are always on the menu. Dishes that combine authenticity and innovation. In other words: simplicity meets originality. Always new. Always fresh and seasonal. There is also a large selection of expressive wines and pure, unadulterated natural wines.

The Jagahütte is located directly on the exit of the slope No. 5 Hochbrand at the confluence of the slope Himmelreich No. 10 at 1600 m. The cozy dining room with a great ambience invites you to linger. The sunny terrace is a perfect place for ski tourers an skiers as well. The Jagahütte also offers overnight acccommodation for up to 12 people.

Mit dem Postbus, Skibus oder Auto geht es bis nach Hüttschlag und weiter in den malerischen Talschluss. Ruhe und Stille bestimmen hier am Eingang zum Nationalpark Hohe Tauern das Tempo. Am gemütlichsten geht´s mit der Pferdekutsche weiter (Anmeldung erforderlich) oder man spaziert zu Fuß die 2 km durch die tief verschneite Winterlandschaft vorbei an einem Wildgehege bis hin zum Ötzlsee. Zurück zum Parkplatz am selben Weg.

Power, fun & action for teens from 13 to 18 years.
Slope style, park & pipe. Dancing across slopes - tail & nose rolls - jumping, tricks. With the cool fun & pro guides, boredom is guaranteed to be a thing of the past. 

From the terrace, the view of the Steinerne Meer with the Hochkönig is a feast for the eyes. At only 950 m above sea level, we offer hikers and cyclists a snack, warm home cooking and home-made pastries in summer. In the winter, we offer hearty and regional mountain food for lunch and dinner. Parking available, directly at the hut.
