The Laireiter Alm is located at 1,850 m directly next to the Grossarltal panorama station. It offers space for 300 to 350 people in the interior. When the weather is fine, up to 500 people can enjoy the sun on our spacious terrace.

You can really romp on slopes of 860 kilometers in the ski resort in the province of Salzburg. In winter, when the cold mountain air of the Schladminger Tauern whips across your face outside, the smell of homemade Kaiserschmarren wafting over from the Schafalm lures you inside the cozy hut. The friendly staff there do their part to guarantee a perfect break before your next run down the Planai. In the winter months, the Schafalm is also home to a number of woolly four-legged creatures, "Valais blacknose sheep" who spend the winter in the adjacent barn (which you are also invited to peek inside), before returning to the lush green alpine meadows of the Planai in summer. An absolute highlight at the Schafalm, especially for younger guests.

One of the highest suspension bridges in Europe offers breathtaking mountain panoramas and thrills over a length of 140 metres at lofty heights. An unforgettable experience for adventure seekers and nature lovers.

The Familypark Rosskopf in Zauchensee waits with creative set-up - ideal for small and tall rookies to improve the skills to know the snowpark lifestyle. The playground for shred-youngsters is easy reachable with the Rosskopfbahn. kickers for first airtime-experiences, spine and mushroom for jib-action, boxes and other highlights provide for much fun and adventure on two lines.

The Hotel Pariente is located directly on the piste in the Hochwurzen ski area and is therefore the ideal stopover for skiers to rest and recharge their batteries in our restaurant with sun terrace. Unbuckle your skis on our doorstep and enjoy the benefits of our à la carte restaurant. We score with seasonal and regional dishes. 

Cross-country skiing

According to snow and weather conditions, you can choose from a great offer of cross-country trails. Along the river Enns or the "Dörferlanglaufloipe" Haus-Aich-Pruggern, the " Kufsteinloipe" in Weißenbach, or the "Sonnenloipe" in Birnberg, both classic and skating runners will enjoy it to the full.

Wer im Skiparadies Zauchensee oder im Skigebiet Radstadt-Altenmarkt unterwegs ist, nutzt für den Transport vom Hotel oder der Ferienwohnung zum täglichen Ski-Genuss und zurück am besten die im gesamten SalzburgerLand regelmäßig verkehrenden Skibusse.

Für Skifahrer und Snowboarder ist die Fahrt mit dem Skibus zu und von den Skistationen, zur Ausübung des Skisports, kostenlos. Eine kostenlose Beförderung von Gruppen gibt es nicht. Gruppenreisende bitte am Vortag bis 17.00 Uhr bei der Zauchensee Liftgesellschaft telefonisch unter + 43 (0) 6452 40 00 reservieren.

A stop at the ski hut and "Alm wine house" Weitmoser Schlossalm is one of the special highlights in the ski area gastein. Selected music, carefully chosen wines and the excellent sorted wine cellar with more than 50 different austrian wines and culinary on very high niveau will be granted.
