The traditional restaurant "Kreistenalm" is located at the top station of the 6-men chairlift Gernkogelbahn, on the slope to the valley. The family run alpine hut offers traditional dishes with full service.

In the SternAlm you will be served in the best and friendly way. We rely on modern, home-style cuisine. It combines Austrian classics with current tastes. Regional suppliers, no finished products and real seasonality ensure your culinary #sternmoment.

Highlight of the SternAlm: the panorama winter garden with a view over the Salzach Valley – from the Kitzsteinhorn over the majestic Hochkönig to the Tennengebirge! How about an Aperol at sunset? A wonderful experience.

Ski & Wine Enjoyment Week from 14th to 21st March, 2026

During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Sternalm some special highlights. 

The Restaurant “Zum Holzwurm” was opened in 1988 by Brunhilde and Willi Gappmaier and is a culinary fixture in the region around Flachau. In summer our cosy terrace entices guests to dine, celebrate and enjoy each other’s company. There’s a great children’s playground in front of our restaurant in Flachau. In winter skiers pop in for breakfast – as the restaurant is situated right on the slopes of the Snow Space Salzburg in Ski amadé.
 

In Lisa Alm you will find a fabulous world of culinary delights. We pay attention to quality and process only fresh and local products for the most part.

From the patisserie in the house to your own DJ sound – Lisa Alm is a ski lodge with a difference in quality. The selection of numerous quality food give each ski day that certain something.

From December 2023, Wolke 7 will be located at the new mountain station of the Kieserlbahn cable car in Grossarl. It will be heavenly, fluffy and very special here. With freshly cooked dishes, great wines, the best cocktails and candy floss. Sugar what? Yes, exactly – what else?
