We live in the most beautiful land of milk and honey in the world. With us in Austria you can feel the 4 seasons intensely with all your senses like almost no other place on earth. These seasons are the source of an incredible variety of top regional products. Cattle, calves, sheep, game, pigs, fish and much more, everything is within reach. We let these precious treasures flow into our kitchen with professionalism , consistency and passion.

Hermann Oberreiter , the owner of the house, had the idea to convert a cowshed into a more modern catering business. In 2000 the time had come: "Austrian cuisine interpreted in Asia". There are now creations that are probably not found anywhere else on a menu.
 

For some it is top comfort, for others a stylish interior or superlative sports facilities. We think: leisure is the greatest luxury of all. This heavenly state of being, threatened with extinction, was already considered the "sister of freedom" in the time of Aristotle. Freedom to organize your thoughts, to gain knowledge, to rise above the "small and small" of everyday life and to cultivate your own interpretation of a fulfilled life. Everything in the Sonnhof is geared towards this. It offers space to develop. Time to find yourself. Inspiration to grow. And fantastic framework conditions to enjoy in every conceivable form.

Here you can do EVERYTHING and have NOTHING to do. This is ensured by a cozy ambience with only 39 exclusive accommodations, a contemporary 4-star superior standard, an unbeatable location directly on the slopes of the Pongau mountains and a heartfelt personal "adults preferred" guest culture. Here you can revive freed from all constraints and experience the pure Austrian way of life. FreeRIDE Ski amadé

The fascinating thing about freeride tours is to draw your feelings in the snow in complete freedom and breathtaking nature. During such descents can occur through adrenaline influence extreme feelings of happiness which are called FLOW in the freeride scene.

Your guide will also familiarize you with the behavior on the mountain, avalanche transceiver (LVS), avalanche situation, companion rescue, etc..

From summer 2023, Austria's first swing park awaits you at Gabühel! Two spectacular waterfall swings, four more swings and a playground area with more than 600 m² invite you to linger.
The Gabühel cable car in Dienten and the Hochmais cable car in Hinterthal take you child-safe and comfortably to the swing paradise.

Our new lounge WESTend is located directly next to the WEST winter sports centre and the 10-seater EUB Rohrmoos I.

To be able to give you the best quality and especially security, the usual personal advice in an informal atmosphere available for you. If you rent your ski equipment, you  always get the top models of the season to choose.
