The mountain restaurant Bodenalm is one of the ski lodges in Zauchensee/Flachauwinkl. Skiers make their stop-off here and non-skiers can travel comfortably with the Highliner I on the top. Treat yourself to the dreamlike sun terrace and a  little time out and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views.

New-found tradition in the Alpine Beer Pub Markterwirt! The regional roots, the personal style of the Schneider family and the structural conditions constitute a unique atmosphere in the Gasthof in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee. Our house, in the heart of Altenmarkt, is a typical tavern. For guests a place to get to know the country and its people and to experience warm hospitality. The mountain station of the 8-seater Rosskopfbahn cable car at 1,930 metres is a popular meeting point in the ski area and an ideal vantage point with great photo opportunities. Our mascot ‘Zauchi’ is looking forward to a photo with you. You can immortalise yourselves with a ‘love lock’ at the ‘love heart’. The Rosskopf is one of the three Zauchensee peaks of the challenging ‘12 Peaks Trophy’.

The Gamskogelhütte is one of the cosiest mountain restaurants with self-service in Zauchensee. This is where skiers and snowboarders also connoisseurs who go up with the comfortable 6-seater chairlift Gamskogel and leave again carrying down.

At 1900 m above sea level are waiting not only the large sun terrace and offers panoramic views, but also Pongauer specialties and international cuisine.
