Mit gültigem Skipass und entsprechender Skiausrüstung fahren Wintersportler mit dem Skibus kostenlos im Gasteinertal von ihren Unterkünften direkt bis zu den Talstationen der Skigebiete. Somit erreichen Sie nicht nur ganz einfach die Skigebiete Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel, Graukogel und Dorfgastein-Großarl, sondern auch das abwechslungsreiche Freeride-Gebiet Sportgastein, sodass Sie schnellstmöglich mit den Liften und Bergbahnen zum Gipfel gelangen und die abwechslungsreichen Ski-Abfahrten genießen können. On a hilltop at Langeck in Maria Alm, a panoramic viewing platform with a striking wooden throne awaits you – complete with a summit cross. Perfect for unforgettable photos with breathtaking views.

In Grossarl and Hüttschlag you can go cross country skiing on 25 km of tracked trails. For the most part, the trails in our region are tracked for classic as well as “skating” technique.

In Grossarl as well as Hüttschlag, there are cross-country trails lit up after dark on certain days. The ca. 2 km-long night trail in Grossarl is at the Reitwiese, open to skiers Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 until 8:30 p.m. In Hüttschlag, there is a ca. 3 km-long floodlit trail next to the Aschaustüberl. This is available to all skiers on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 6 and 8:30 p.m.

The secret ingredients of our cuisine, which has meanwhile been awarded 2 Falstaff Gabels, are actually not so secret at all: passion, love for the original product and a good pinch of creativity. Variety plays a very important role in our cuisine and we also like to take a look beyond the region's culinary horizons - but always with the awareness that sustainability is part of it.

The EASY-PARK (Skifreizeitpark) at Übungslift lake - a truly ingenious device for children and adolescents.
Here, the kids can try on the jumps, Slide Blatten, Rainbows etc. in various acrobatic exercises.

In the bike park you can test your skills in the trail park and dirt park on an area of ​​approx. 10,000 m². In the trail park, the bike takes you over natural obstacles such as roots, balance elements, curves and waves. In the dirt park there are 3 lines equipped with tables and a seesaw.
