The ski hut is also easily accessible by car for non-skiers.

During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Sternalm some special highlights.

Winter pleasure with lots of fun on the floodlit Aeroplan natural toboggan run: ascent with the Schlossalm lift, Toboggan-hire at Finish Oberhaitzing, 3.3 km long, altitude difference approx. 450m, time required approx. 30 mins., Skiing area Schlossalm – Aeroplanstadl – Weinetsberg

Ski holidays in Flachau provide guests with lots of good reasons to visit Sport Stangl. These range from hiring equipment to having their own skis or snowboard serviced to picking up a few key items for an enjoyable holiday in the Austrian Alps. 

For skiers and snowboarders, the ski bus to and from the ski stations for winter sports is free of charge. Groups can only be transported by pre-booking (book by 5.00 pm the day before on +43-6542-4000).

At 1,980 m above sea level, at the foot of the Grießenkareck, is the highest vantage point of Snow Space Salzburg. The view of the Hohe and Niedere Tauern mountains that opens up here is particularly impressive. Make the most of this moment before you happily continue down the slopes.
