From the terrace, the view of the Steinerne Meer with the Hochkönig is a feast for the eyes. At only 950 m above sea level, we offer hikers and cyclists a snack, warm home cooking and home-made pastries in summer. In the winter, we offer hearty and regional mountain food for lunch and dinner. Parking available, directly at the hut.

New-found tradition in the Alpine Beer Pub Markterwirt! The regional roots, the personal style of the Schneider family and the structural conditions constitute a unique atmosphere in the Gasthof in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee. Our house, in the heart of Altenmarkt, is a typical tavern. For guests a place to get to know the country and its people and to experience warm hospitality. We are "the" meeting place for locals and visitors! Visit us in Gastein on the Stubnerkogel in our rustic ski lodge Young parlor. Enjoy the great panoramic view of the sun terrace and let yourself be pampered by our service team, with delicacies from our cuisine and fine wines from Austria.

Who is looking for fun and humor is in our heated outdoor bar right place for sun and snow. Young office – where the sun is always shining!

...but none is as special as the Tom alpine cabin. This may be due to the fact that in the whole of Maria Alm, no, in the whole of Salzburger Land, there is no other alpine hut with a pug (Choupette is her precious name) as a mascot. But probably also because of how we run our hut. 

In addition to a spectacular mountain panorama, we offer a good dose of taste: modern architecture is combined with rustic hut charm, the bubbly for the sundowner is specially created and the menu delivers what an alpine hut promises. Anyone expecting a classic ski lodge on the mountain will be surprised here - but that's exactly how we like it.

Comfortably "gondola" at sunset and enjoy a fantastic menu with your loved ones in the private gondola!

In Grossarl and Hüttschlag you can go cross country skiing on 25 km of tracked trails. For the most part, the trails in our region are tracked for classic as well as “skating” technique.

In Grossarl as well as Hüttschlag, there are cross-country trails lit up after dark on certain days. The ca. 2 km-long night trail in Grossarl is at the Reitwiese, open to skiers Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 until 8:30 p.m. In Hüttschlag, there is a ca. 3 km-long floodlit trail next to the Aschaustüberl. This is available to all skiers on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 6 and 8:30 p.m.
