The Fichtel country on Hochbifang in Altenmarkt
On the Altenmarkt side of the Radstadt / Altenmarkt there on Hochbifang a unique forest with very special trees. In this forest grow namely spruces with extraordinary abilities! Every year in winter the spruce throw their Fichtenzapfen on the forest floor, and from some of these pins there are formed small creatures that exist only in this forest in Altenmarkt: the Fichtel!

Golf & Countryclub Schladming-Dachstein

The 18-hole golf course is located in the heart of the Dachstein-Tauern region, between Schladming and Haus, at an altitude of 700 metres above sea level.

Bernhard Langer, one of the most famous and successful golf players, succeeded in transferring a touch of the courses of Florida to the Alpine region with this course. This course is one of the "Leading Golf Courses".

A stop at the ski hut and "Alm wine house" Weitmoser Schlossalm is one of the special highlights in the ski area gastein. Selected music, carefully chosen wines and the excellent sorted wine cellar with more than 50 different austrian wines and culinary on very high niveau will be granted.

Snow-Wellness auf den Spuren der Weltmeister auf den über 220 Km Ramsau-Loipen davon 70 Km Sport- und Skatingloipen. Auf den Ramsauer Loipennetz können Spitzensportler und Genusslanglangläufer gleichermaßen ein herrliches „Loipengefühl“ erleben. Ausgangspunkt des Langlaufangebotes ist das Langlaufstadion mit eigenem Testcenter beim Veranstaltungszentrum in Ramsau Ort. Besonderer Höhepunkt für alle aktiven, sportlichen, dynamischen Gäste ist die Nachtloipe im Langlaufstadion in Ramsau Ort. Ergänzt wird das Sportangebot durch eine Höhenloipe am Dachsteingletscher und dem Vorzeige-Indoor-Trainingszentrum mit Kraftgeräten, Radergometern und Laufbändern von höchstem technischen Niveau, einem Kletterturm und einer Turnhalle. The labyrinth in Maria Alm was inspired by a labyrinth of the Cathedral of San Vitale in Ravenna. It is a gothic labyrinth with seven whorls.
The labyrinth was created as a gravel road and invites children, adults, young and old, locals and guests to linger a little and to enjoy the beauty of the place.
