The Wagrain ski school is located in 3 locations ... in the valley, middle station and mountain station – the right thing for everyone. Each office (4x in Wagrain) is located in a ski shop – so everything is available under one roof. We try to make everything possible. An unobstructed view of the Dachstein, the Planai slopes all around, and in between elements such as a Klapotetz, oversized wooden chairs and a huge green heart – this is the new Planai Steirereck, a "selfie spot" for the somewhat different vacation photo.

The Gamskogelhütte is one of the cosiest mountain restaurants with self-service in Zauchensee. This is where skiers and snowboarders also connoisseurs who go up with the comfortable 6-seater chairlift Gamskogel and leave again carrying down.

At 1900 m above sea level are waiting not only the large sun terrace and offers panoramic views, but also Pongauer specialties and international cuisine.

In 1752 the Schargetter family acquired the property including the farm, and this is still in the family’s possession today. Dine like royalty. The late Gothic, typical Salzburg stately home dates back to 1554 and goes back to the days of gold and silver mining. Today the house is open to guests as a café-restaurant. The chapel in the house is excellently suited for small weddings and baptisms.

You will find an unrivalled panoramic view at the Grießenkar photo point. Coming from Wagrain via the Flying Mozart and from Flachau via Starjet 3, you are on the one hand, at a pivotal point in the ski area, and on the other hand in a very significant place: A monument in the form of a summit cross is located in the immediate vicinity.

An excursion to the summit of the Stubnerkogel is definitely worthwhile: enthroned over the 140 m long suspension bridge which swings gently in the wind is the new, attractive viewing platform with the distinctive name “Glocknerblick”. The diameter of the round viewing plateau is 7 m. It is made mainly out of steel and wood. The platform is secured on the sides by wire mesh through which you can still enjoy the view. Glass in the floor at the front, which juts out over the mountainside, allows an unhindered view of the depths below.

The Ramsau ski schools organise several kids' snow parties with the Ramsau mascot Kali. Simply fun: great music, torch-walk, face painting and much more. No entrance fee!
