Slip into your ski trousers before the day wakes up, take a deep breath of mountain air at the valley station and feel the anticipation tingling in your stomach. Let the gondola carry you up to the summit, check your bindings and take another deep breath. Enjoy the view over the freshly groomed pistes and then - finally - make your first turns, feel the wind in your face and feel infinitely free. Be the first on the mountain - during early morning skiing in Dorfgastein. Afterwards, all hard-working early risers are rewarded with a fortifying summit breakfast high up at 2,033 metres.
