The wines of Burgenland

Together with the 49th Burgenland Ski Week, we are bringing Burgenland hospitality to Zauchensee from 8th - 16th February. Also included are exquisite Burgenland wines from our regional winegrowers.

Skiing inspires, just like Burgenland! In February 2024, we are combining these two themes to create an extraordinary event: wine lovers will get their money's worth at the Burgenland Bar in the Zauchensee World Cup Arena. Discover our variety of wines from the DAC regions, which are also available online in the my burgenland shop to take home, and take a culinary voyage of discovery through Burgenland as inspiration for your next holiday.

Open daily from 01.00 p.m. -06.00 p.m.. All Burgenland fans - and those who want to become one - are cordially invited to visit.

As a special highlight, the steepest Burgenland wine tasting will take place on 15 February at the Gamskogel summit in Zauchensee at the start of the World Cup downhill run at 2,186m above sea level. Let wine academic Christian Zechmeister introduce you to the world of Burgenland wines. In addition, the winners will have the opportunity to explore the ski resort together with world champion Michi Walchhofer on 15 February. 

The places for this exclusive wine tasting will be given away in a competition and the winners will be drawn and contacted on 13 February.
